Occasionally I am lucky enough to have someone who has followed Koala Gardens online for years come to Australia and visit. In March 2024, Darlene who has followed on Facebook since the very start, came out!
You know you are getting close to Koala Gardens when you see these signs along the road.
It was a privilege and a pleasure to visit with Katrina at the Koala Gardens while on holiday in Australia. We were able to see the koalas in their natural habit. This is a photo of Ellie that I took with my iPhone – I couldn’t believe how clearly I could see her.
We brought our travelling koala Elvis with us, and he had the best time meeting his cousins.
The property is expansive with lots of gum trees. Katrina has a ‘kindergarten’ set up for koala rehabilitation. We loved learning about the koalas and witnessing Katrina’s passion for the species and their well being.
We absolutely loved our visit.
