Emma

Emma arrived at Koala Gardens in 2021., a beautiful healthy female with an awesome nose pattern. She only stayed for six days, during which she had some close encounters with both Bullet and Hugo. This made it particularly exciting when she returned in 2022 with her joey Shine. The math works out!

Emma is shown in left profile, sitting in a tree surrounded by branches and leaves. Her joey ,Shine, is sitting in her lap facing her. Emma’s face is partially obscured by her left arm, which is resting on Shine’s head. Shine is facing the camera as he peers out from under Emma’s arm. His eyes are open and he looks settled.

She came back to Koala Gardens just after Shine, emerged from her pouch, later leaving  again to take Shine somewhere else to separate from him. It was great to see her back towards to the end of the year – maybe she was looking to see who would father the next joey?

Emma is holding onto a smooth barked tree trunk in front of her, to the right of the photo. Her face is partially obscured by another tree trunk, partially in view on the left of the photo, as looks out from behind the one she is holding. Her eyes are open. Her white chin and partial heart nose pattern are shown. The claws of her front paws are shown digging into the bark. The 5 digits on her right paw can be seen to the front of the tree trunk, showing the two opposing thumbs.

Emma has lots of videos (both with and without her joey)on YouTube where she has her own playlist. (below). She appears in the Koala Gardens Happenings for  2021and 2022.
