Katrina says:
SAVE the Koala September FACT 29.
In 2022 the extinction status of the koala was changed from vulnerable to ENDANGERED. This means that no matter all we are doing, the koala situation is getting worse. This status measures how close to extinction a species is becoming. It is used all around the world.
We are not giving up, we are never stopping! While we can’t control government decisions, there is always plenty we can do. If we work together, we can make all the difference.
Koala Gardens is dedicated to working with private landowners, community members, children, schools and government departments. The work we do here aims to turn this around. The best solution is for koalas to have the habitat they need. More trees is the key to saving koalas.
They own the country as much as any human being, they just have no voice!
