Wild Koala Day Poetry Competition 2024
In the Koala Garden
In the Koala Garden, fluffy and sweet,
Koalas play, their joy complete.
Katrina’s property, a safe haven,
For these furry friends, love is given.
Amidst the trees, they climb and play,
In Katrina’s care, they find their way.
Her camera captures their every move,
Filming koalas, in their groove.
Fluffy koalas, with eyes so bright,
In the Koala Garden, a pure delight.
Katrina’s love, a guiding light,
Protecting them with all her might.
Through the lens, we see them roam,
In this sanctuary, their new home.
Katrina’s kindness, a gift so true,
Filming koalas for me and you.
So let’s watch in awe and cheer,
As koalas play without fear.
Thanks to Katrina’s loving hand,
In the Koala Garden, they’ll forever stand.
Wattle and Hugo each have their own biographies detailing their lives at Koala Gardens
