VALENTINE is a gorgeous mature male koala with a heart-shaped nose pattern.

He arrived here in 2022 and that nose won our hearts immediately.

However, in November, he developed a chlamydial infection in his eye.  Acting quickly, Katrina caught him with a trap. As a result, she took him to the local koala hospital for treatment.  Happily, he came back home 6 weeks later with gorgeous bright, clear eyes again.

Every koala is so special as koala numbers are declining at an alarming rate. Every healthy koala brings us a big ray of promise. With koalas listed as endangered, this is exceptionally good news.

You can adopt Valentine with 3 payment package choices depending on your budget:

  • a single adoption payment of $100
  • a $10 monthly “keeping in the loop”
  • a $20 monthly Patreon package.

By choosing the Patreon package option for Valentine you will receive an exclusive monthly video, exclusive updates of happenings as they occur, and you get to choose names for new koalas to put to the vote. This is the best value adoption option.

By choosing the “keeping in the loop” option for Valentine, you will receive a monthly email update on all the colony at Koala Gardens.  This is a fantastic adoption option as you receive news and photos that only goes out to adopters and this special group of supporters often hear news well in advance of public announcements.  For less than the price of coffee and cake, you can help keep the work going and know about it personally.

Keeping in the loop and Patreon adoptions all get a thank you on every YouTube video and a personal shout out when you adopt.
