Summer

Summer was first seen at Koala  Gardens in January, 2019. He was around the same age as Frankie, Krissy, Dewdrop and Phoenix, but was not born on the property.

At first he seemed to be following Racee and Phoenix around, but he soon settled himself independently. He dispersed from this area of the property in August when the others were dispersing, but then started to appear a different area of the property.

Summer as a juvenile is sitting in a smooth barked tree looking forwards. His hands and feet are tucked into his lap. He has dark fur and dark eyes with a large nose.
Summer at 18 months old sitting with his front against a large smooth barked tree. His ears are small and his nose is large - typical for a male koala.
Summer at nearly 2 years old sitting on a thing branch of a rough barked tree is yawning - his mouth is open wide and we can see his lower incisor teeth.

He was last seen on 20 October, having a spent total of 95 days at Koala Gardens. Hopefully he found a good home with lots of food.

Summer has lots of videos on YouTube  where he  has his own playlist (below). He appears in the Koala Gardens Happenings for 2019.

Facing left, Summer koala is lying back on a semi horizontal branch , holding onto another branch with his left hand. His right leg is partially stretched out in front of him, showing the claws on his foot. He is looking over his right shoulder and looking slightly downwards. His eyes are partially open, he looks relaxed.
